Mercedes C280: Because You Want More Value
A brand new 2008 C-Class Mercedes-Benz which was unveiled last month in Stuttgart, Germany is due to arrive in showrooms in September. The new C-Class is loaded with features that customers would like. The question now is what happens to the old C-Class? Mercedes models do not grow old but instead transcends time just and the new 2008 C-Class simply demonstrates the evolution that the C-Class has undergone over time. It is natural that buyers would prefer the new model over the old fortunately Mercedes Canada has devise a marketing strategy that would not cause to much consternation among the brand faithful. What Mercedes Canada did was to make the C-Class such a terrific value that people would surely go craving for the said model regardless of whether it's the new C-Class or a much older model. A sample of such marketing strategy was employed for the C280 Avantgarde Edition which the sales brochure described having "spectacular performance, unprecedented value, and of course, the superb level of luxury you expect from Mercedes-Benz." And just what makes the C280 Avantgarde such a great buy? It is equipped with $6,000 worth of features added by Mercedes-Benz and amazingly at no additional cost. Such features include: sliding glass sunroof, power steering column and 10 way power adjustable driver's seat with three position memory, Harman/kardon Logic7 surround-sound system, MP3 compatible six-disc CD changer, 17 inch seven spoke aluminum alloy wheels and metallic paint. The C280 is also equipped with quality Mercedes auto components such as a Mercedes muffler that reduces the noise produced by the explosive combustion of fuel. The truth of the matter is that the C-Class is one of the rare cars that wear its age very well. Its subtle wedge shape and fluid lines which were updated two years ago were able to keep up their fresh and classy feel which makes most of its rivals to look nouveau riche. The new C280 reflects the maturity in Mercedes' approach to the luxury, sporty sedan segment. This special compact four-door has a natural conservative streak that most of it rivals like the notable BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 don't possess. Sadly despite the 228 horsepower, 3.0 liter DOHC V6 under its hood, performance doesn't come naturally. And because of this, Mercedes Benz has decided to equip the C280 with a seven-speed transmission in automatic which enables the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. Unfortunately, the C280's sporting mode is inhibited by the gear selector's side-to-side actuation. Similarly the forward to upshift and backward to downshift is far more intuitive. A word of caution for those planning to purchase a C280 never try to chase Bimmers and Audis especially on twisty back roads since the suspension of the C280 is made more for comfort and not for sport. But in fairness to the C280 it's not that bad on winding roads it's just that it tends to eat up a huge amount of road space on major highways at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The cabin is conservatively upscale with emphasis on passenger comfort. The seating position is remarkably comfortable and supportive in all the right places. Plus it's quite spacious with plenty of legroom. It also has Harman/kardon surround sound system for the passengers listening pleasure.

News of Chryslerâ
A week after the announcement of DaimlerChrysler of its plan to finally sell its Chrysler arm maker of quality Jeep windshield wiper motor, dealers have reported to Chrysler executives that customers were inquiring if their cars would still be covered by warranties. The announcement has also affected Chrysler's sale and declined by 8.3 percent on the same month that the announcement was made. Chrysler's executives have attributed a great part of the decline to consumers' uncertainty on Chrysler's future. Industry analysts share the same concern as that of Landry stating that the continued publicity about the possible buyout of Chrysler will definitely hurt the company in showrooms especially in the Midwest where Chrysler has more facilities and gets more media coverage as the bidding process continues. It is still unclear whether Chrysler can still recover especially since its future owner is still unknown. It can be noted that Chrysler has started the year with a decent number of sales with an increase of 1 percent compared to the same month a year ago and this is despite the fact that the overall US auto sales were down more than 4 percent. And then came February to end everything for Chrysler Group including its restructuring plan that will shed 13,000 jobs. The world's largest automaker, General Motors Corp. has expressed its interest in making a bid for Chrysler but recently the focus shifted to the Canadian auto parts supplier Magna International Inc. and two other private equity groups, Cerberus Capital Management LP and a consortium of investors led by Blackstone Group. Magna chief Frank Stronach in an interview told Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper that the company is discussing possibilities with Canada's Onex Corp. conglomerate about teaming up on a bid. Kirk Kerkorian an American billionaire has also expressed his interest on Chrysler and has made a $4.5 billion bid for the money-losing arm of DaimlerChrysler. It can be remembered that Kerkorian has tried in the past to take control of Chrysler unfortunately he was toppled by Daimler-Benz on the acquisition of Chrysler in 1990. Daimler-Benz AG has purchased Chrysler AG for $36 billion in 1998 and now it is selling Chrysler at a bargain price amounting only to $13.7 billion. DaimlerChrysler reportedly is meeting with the private equity firms but has not yet set up a similar meeting with Kerkorian's Tracinda Corp. Financial studies are continuously being conducted and according to Landry the March sales obtained by Chrysler are a sign that the automaker has somewhat recovered from the initial shock of sale announcement. Chrysler's vehicle sales are still down by 4.6 percent for the month however the automaker in turn beat its internal goals by 1 percent. March 2006 was the best March sales that Chrysler had in four years. Landry also said to expect improvement in April and May.

Installing Custom Sheepkin Seat Covers
Installing your new seat covers can be a pain at time. But by following these simple instructions you will find the installation will go a lot smoother. First off, if your car has removeable headrests you will need to take those off first. Most of the time there will be a release button at the top of your seat. Now once you have the headrests off, if there were any, it is time to start putting on the seat covers. Just follow these easy 7 steps. 1. Begin at the top of the seat, slowly pulling the seat cover down over the shoulder of the seat. Take a moment to make sure that the seat cover is centered on the seat. 2. Take the centre straps and push them through the space in between the backrest and the seat cushion. You will need to reach around and pull them all the way through from the other side. This process can be done easily by kneeling on the seat cushion to create a larger space, or tilting the seat back. 3. From the back of the seat, grab the center straps and hook them to the underside of the seat. The hooks can be fastened to the springs or any metal edges down there. Note: Do not hook the straps to the sliding track of the seat or any electrical wiring there may be. Be careful to keep your head clear when attaching the straps, if they slip out they can shoot back and cause injury. For 2 door cars, be sure to leave enough slack for the seat to move forward, allowing people to get into the back seat. If the straps are too taught, they may break when the seat in tilted forward. 4. Now take the side straps and push them through centre at each side of the seat. Pull the straps down and back and hook them to the underside of the seat, again being careful not to put the straps in the way of the sliding track. 5. Pull seatcover forward and smooth out over seat cushions and sides. Pull straps at front and hook to underside of the seat. 6. Sit down in your seat and check to make sure that the cover is fitted properly to the seat and not off centre. If your car has adjustable headrests, you may now need to get a sharp knife and make a small cut to allow you to re-insert your headrests. This can be done from sitting in the back of the seat. Line up the knife with the headrest holes in the seat and then move the sheepskin away from the seat (by lifting up) when cutting holes. Make sure you cut through the sheepskin and lining. You're done, now go for a drive and enjoy.

ABI Research Predicts New Technology Advances Will Drive Automotive Head-Up Displays to
It used to be that all that really mattered when it came to having cars is that they can get you to where you are going in one piece. Now it's not just about whether those GMC Sierra parts are going to hold up on the road, but if the car is going to keep you entertained and how, or how many gadgetries are there to make driving easier and more convenient.
The continuous rise in the development of features and applications in cars has led to concerns about information overload and distracted drivers. Entertainment choices, as well as status information and navigation instructions, are pulling drivers' attention away from the basic task of driving. How many times have we heard about cars getting into accidents because the driver got distracted manning the car's navigation system rather than looking on the road?
But it appears that there are already steps being taken to solve potential distraction causes like these.
According to a new Research Brief from ABI Research, a head-up display solution – that displays key information in the driver's line of sight, reducing the need to look away from the road ahead -- are now available in growing numbers, and will comprise a $400 million market by 2012.
New HUD options from BMW and Citroën are expected to generate interest in a market until now dominated by GM, with Toyota and Honda waiting in the wings with their own versions.
Tier One suppliers like Delphi, Denso, Siemens VDO, and Nippon Seiki will capitalize on this market if they continue to develop attractive HUD solutions for their OEM customers, solutions that require less dashboard real estate without increasing cost. ABI Research is also looking at rapidly maturing technologies from new vendors that may eventually challenge the leaders even in this relatively new industry.
The first head-up displays appeared in the 1980s but failed to impress the consumer as hoped with its limited functionality, lack of clarity, insufficient brightness, and less-than-stellar reliability.
About ABI Research Founded in 1990 and headquartered in New York, ABI Research maintains global operations supporting annual research programs, intelligence services, and market reports in broadband and multimedia, RFID and M2M, wireless connectivity, mobile wireless, transportation, and emerging technologies. The new ABI Research Brief, "Head-Up Displays" examines the forces pushing growth in the market, including demand for advanced features and the newest technology. It offers market analysis in four world regions as well as aggregate shipments, and forms part of two ABI Research Services, Driver Assistance Systems and Automotive Electronics, which include Research Reports, ABI Insights, and analyst inquiry support.

Troubleshooting Your Ford
What's the most important part in your car? You would probably answer it's the engine. The engine, of course, is very essential since combustion takes place here. It is often referred to as the "heart of the vehicle." However, other systems and auto parts might begin to protest. Certainly, every part in the vehicle has a role to perform; therefore, any of the auto parts cannot be disregarded. Among the auto parts that play equally important role with the engine parts are the electrical parts. Electrical parts take charge of your car's power supply. It produces, stores and distributes electricity to all parts in the car that needs it--especially the engine. Basically, your car cannot operate without electricity. In order for the engine to produce power for the wheels, the burned fuel and air mixture must be ignited. The spark plug needs electricity in order to fire the compressed air-fuel mixture and create a powerful expansion of the vapor. A problem on your electrical system, such as a faulty alternator or battery, could render your car useless; thus, you must be cautious if anything abnormal happens to your Ford's electrical system. The battery wears out the fastest and so it needs to be checked every now and then. Likewise, check on your alternator. This part is the source of electricity in your car; thus, when damaged, nothing will supply power to the battery and the rest of the vehicle. What are the indications of a faulty alternator? First and foremost, if your car won't start at all and all you hear is a click, your alternator might be in bad condition. The battery has not been charged properly so it doesn't have sufficient amount of power for the engine to start. However, even if your engine still starts, you cannot be confident enough that nothing is wrong with your Ford car's alternator. Check your headlights when idling, if the light gets weaker and weaker, check for loose connections in the alternator. Likewise, check the alternator belt. If it is not tight enough, the alternator won't be able to charge properly. Furthermore, look if there is a formation of rust as this will affect the charging ability of your

Google Turns Green
In an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and global dependence on oil, internet giant Google has launched its new RechargeIT initiative to promote the development of plug-in hybrid electric cars. Under the guidance of Google's own philanthropic Google.org team, the new initiative will award $1 million in grants and a further $10 million to fund the development and eventual commercialization of plug-in hybrids. According to the company's press release, this is how the first million will be spent: * Brookings Institution: $200,000 to support a spring 2008 conference on federal policy to promote plug-ins * CalCars: $200,000 to support its work to educate the public about plug-ins * Electrical Power Research Institute (EPRI): $200,000 to support its plug-in research and development program; * Plug-In America: $100,000 to raise public awareness and advocate for plug-in transportation; * Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI): $200,000 to enable RMI to launch the design of a practical plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, with additional support and collaboration by Alcoa, Johnson Controls, and the Turner Foundation; * Dr. Willett Kempton, University of Delaware: $150,000 for megawatt scale vehicle-to-grid research and implementation planning. Too Not only is Google interested in creating a reliable plug-in hybrid, its new initiative will also support the development of a sustainable electricity grid. Under the proposal, owners would be able to sell back unused energy when power across the grid is running low. Partnering with A123Systems-Hymotion, Google has already tested a fleet of Toyota Prius vehicles that were converted into plug-in hybrids. In the initial tests, the fleet's fuel efficiency averaged 74mpg, stark contrast to the 41mpg for the test fleet of non-plug-in Prius cars. Google also announced the start-up of the solar panel installation at Google HQ to power the plug-in vehicles it already has. The new solar panel installation at its Mountain View headquarters in California should develop up to 1.6 megawatts of power – enough to power roughly 1,000 homes. Google employees will also be able to get free car sharing through Google Fleet. This fleet will get 100 PHEVs when they're available. Too bad Honda (maker of quality Honda car bra) has decided to discontinue its Honda Accord hybrids.

Web hosting - Secrets of Finding a Reliable Host
So, you have decided to move on to a new host as your old host went into deep sleep and did not return. What else could you do but to search for some new space? As an web publisher I can feel your frustration, anxiety and agony when your hosting server is down all of a sudden without any prior notice. Not only that you are bound to loose business, this may ruin your reputation and credibility as well. So, you need to take precaution before selecting your new host. I had similar bitter experience in the past. My experience with web hosts became my nightmare. But now I have chalked out a plan to cross-check the credibility of my hosts. So, it is not that easy to trap me with some great hosting offers which otherwise look lucrative. I'll just share with you the most important factors you must consider before choosing your new host. 1) Years in business: The first thing you must look at your host is how long they are in hosting industry. It carries a lot. Years of presence in any trade is extremely important and particularly in hosting, it is the first and foremost condition you should consider. To get an estimate of the experience of your host, simply make a Whois lookup! - You will get all the necessary information like Contact Name, Address, Contact Email and Domain Name Registration/Renewal details. If you find virtually unrealistic data - you should not trust that host. Once you are convinced with Whois data - go for the next round of check up. 2)Read reviews - You can simply search the internet to read reviews of that host. If they are in the business for quite sometime, you are bound to get some reviews. You can also look for reviews at different review sites. While reading reviews at review sites - always keep it in your mind that those reviews might be inspired by Affiliate Commission. Reading reviews to learn about your new host is great way, still, we'll move on to do some more cross-check. 3)Support - If you are really serious about your website, you need to go with a hosting company who provides excellent support, both in terms of fast response and also in terms of their knowledge. The best way to check it out yourself is to contact their support wing. Keep a sharp watch about the response time and quality of their reply. Allowable response time varies a lot depending upon the type of site you run. For a high-traffic site, you need to have a much faster response from the support wing. If both the response time and response quality are satisfactory, and their plan features fulfill your requirements, you can move on to look for a final round of check up. 4)Monitor uptime - You can request your host to let you know few sites hosted by them and try and monitor the uptime records for those sites. You can also check the past uptime records of that host. 5)Payment Options - Even when you are too satisfied with the credibility of your new host, I'll never recommend you to pay for one full year in advance to get some gross rebate. It is better to try with them for two to three months and then only consider for a long term contract. 6)Special Offers- If you are otherwise satisfied, you can search for special offers like 30 days money back guarantee or one month free trial hosing offers. 7)Take part in hosting community - The best way to avoid bitter hosting experience is to get in touch with a hosting community, where you can be well aware of the changes or updates in respect of different hosts, and when you need a new host, you can find the one from within your community, whom you know better and whom you can rely upon. My final word again, while searching for a new host, keep your options open and do not take a decision in a hurry. otherwise, you may have to initiate another host search within a very short span.

Hand wash your motorcycle!
Perhaps, you are one of the multitudes of riders, who have visited the famous Sturgis, Daytona and Laughlin bike wash stands. The reason might be for bike washing alone or it may also be for the bikini clad girls washing the bikes. Either ways, you have to be sure that your bike is squeaky clean afterwards! A motorcycle is far different from a car. Moreover, do not bring the former to a car wash station when it needs washing. Car wash stations use high pressure spray in cleaning and washing cars. This spray is too harsh for a bike. In fact, water is often stuck up under your gasket when high pressure spray is used in your bike. Bear in mind that oem and aftermarket motorcycle parts are more exposed to external elements compared to auto parts. Be sure to consider them in doing your regular wash. Aside from high pressure sprays, paper towels and strong household detergent must also be avoided. The second can prick or scratch your bike and the last can strip the wax and dull the finish on black engines or plastic housings. In cleaning your bike, use 100% cotton cloth. The next question is should you wax or polish? To give you a good idea which to use, let us discuss both. Wax has no grit to it. Thus, it is best for bikes surface. Bikers and bike enthusiasts alike also love Carnauba cleaner wax because it limits UV rays and pollution that ruin the bike's surface due to oxidation. Polish, on the other hand, has fine grit on it. They can take off tiny portion of clear coat in order to avoid and not only limit oxidation that dulls the bike's paint. When your bike's paint is black or other dark color, apply first a glaze then wax it. Glaze can be had in the same section as the wax. This may mean doubling the work but is definitely worth it! With regards to spoke wheels an easy way to clean it is through a wide shoelace. Wrap the latter around the spoke then pull it back and forth. Easy isn't it? When it comes to cases, use a toothbrush to clean it. After cleaning it, apply Pam cooking spray to make it appear polished, shiny and wrinkle-free. It is important to make your bike as well as your motorcycle parts clean and in good shape. That way, you are extending its durability and performance. Now that you know the valuable secrets in bike washing, use them to your advantage!

What You Should Look For And Expect When Seeking A Warranty Quote
You don't necessarily need to get an online warranty quote, but it sure does save a lot of time! Unfortunately, given the vast resources available to you, there's no one magic website that will give you all the information you need right away. It will require a good amount of time and sifting, which not everyone is cut out for. In some cases, there have been ads placed on "Craigslist" for "research assistants" to spend the time and assemble the data needed to make a smart personal decision. It might be worth the $50 fee to save yourself 40-60% on your extended automobile warranty! When you're dealing with a warranty company online, there are a few things to look for. Be sure they're BBB approved and that you can find their address or executive names somewhere on the site. Check to see if the warranty company is backed by an insurer or financial backer, which will guarantee that you'll be covered even if the company suddenly goes belly up. You can then cross-check the financial backer with the AM Best website to see how reliable they are. Your State Insurance Commission can also tell you if any complaints have been filed with the company. Your warranty quote should deliver a clear, comprehensive detailing of what you will get for your money. If they can't provide you with the level of detail you need or if they seem vague, then look elsewhere. It's important before you get a warranty quote to understand your vehicle's defects and your driving habits. Are you the sort of person who brakes hard and needs new rotors several times per year? Do you wear out gaskets, calipers and seals? Does your engine ever overheat or does your coolant system break down? Did you buy a Jimmy, a Jeep or a Land Rover, which are cars with known problems? If you're good to your car, then the manufacturer's warranty (with an additional year or two, at most) may be just fine for you. If you beat on your car mercilessly, then you'd better go with the most comprehensive extended warranty coverage you can get! One place you can check is "Warranty Headquarters". Here you can get instant, extended warranty quote information by filling out a quick form. Another site that ensures you the highest quality quotes is "Warranty Helper", which asks you if you want "wear and tear" coverage, overheating protection and A-rated insurance. You can also go through recommended companies like Warranty Direct or National Warranty Corporation for added information. Just type "warranty quote" into Google and you'll see how many companies come up! The risk of getting junk mail, telemarketer calls or email spam is always there, of course, so you may want to have certain phone lines or email addresses set up for research purposes only. We offer a free extended warranty audio gift. Learn more about the warranty quote at our portal, and drop us a note at our wholesale extended warranty coverage blog.

Irish Number Plates - A Popular Alternative
It is because personalised number plates have become so hugely popular that the availability of Northern Irish registration plates has come under the radar of those looking to get exactly the plate they want or those with a shrewd eye on the prices that some popular number plate combinations sell for. The surge in interest in buying private plates in the UK in recent years has meant that many of the most popular lettering and numbering combinations are simply not available any more. There are only so many times you can rework letters and numbers to try to fit your name or favourite football team. If your choice is not available or the current owner is not willing to sell (or is asking a price beyond your means), then looking across the water to the Irish market may provide you with what you need.
The use of the lettering and numbering on the plates is one of the main differences in Irish number plates as compared to those in the mainland UK. They have a format of up to four numbers preceded by three letters. Irish plates also include Z and I which are not used on mainland UK; given the versatility of the vowel I and the potential for the colloquial use of the letter Z, a whole new set of combinations becomes possible with the Irish system. HIL or WIL or BAZ or MAZ and a number of other name options open up just to start.
Another feature of the Irish system is that the number plates are classified as dateless and can be put on any vehicle regardless of age. So in theory it is possible to mask the age of your vehicle one way or another with an Irish plate, perhaps giving a classic car look to a newer vehicle. Given that one of the reasons that you may be looking for a personalised plate is to spice up an already attractive car, then you may find options to think about with this feature.
In common with the UK market, where there have been some amazing valuations of personalised number plates, the Irish market also offers investment opportunities for those with an eye for what could be popular. There have already been sales in the hundreds of thousands for the hardest to get plates such as BIG 1.
In general, though, Irish plates are cheaper than in the UK even after the administrative process of transferring the plates to a DVLA registered vehicle. The simplest way to search for, buy and transfer an Irish registration plate is through a car number plate dealer who will be able to handle all the details for you.

Jonathan Goring Feels Awesome with First Star Mazda Win
Some people figured that Dane Cameron had another victory in the bag after he had led in the points during both practice sessions and won the pole for Sunday’s Star Mazda that was presented by Goodyear race at Burke Lakefront Airport.
But Andersen Racing driver Jonathan Goring, who qualified second, was not one of those вЂsome people’.
Exuding maturity well beyond his 17 years, the driver from Norfolk, Conn., watched Cameron closely and saw a possible opportunity to pass him towards the end of Sunday’s race. He tried such opportunity and it worked. As a result, Goring achieved his first Star Mazda victory ever.
When the checkered dropped in the 45-minute race that was part of the track’s Champ Car weekend, Goring’s No. 14, which promotes the Skip Barber Racing School, Alfas Unlimited and NPA Graphics, was 1.059 seconds ahead of Cameron. Finishing third was Natacha Gachnang.
Managing the tire was very hard.
Goring related that for almost the whole race, he was in the second spot. He saw a caution in the middle and realized that Dane Cameron was not as strong as he was under braking in Turn 1. On the second restart, Goring capitalized on that and passed the practice sessions leader under braking in Turn 1. In turn, Cameron finished second giving Goring a 1-second lead at the end.
The 2006 Skip Barber National champion (Goring) continued that the track was quite slippery because of the Champ Cars going out before them, but his car handled very well.
He is thanking everybody on the Andersen Racing team and said that achieving his first Star Mazda win felt awesome.
In the provisional order of finish for the 23-driver field, the two other Andersen Racing drivers in the race, Phil Saville of Oak Brook, Ill. and Jonny Baker from Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, England, placed 12th and 14th, respectively. The New York Jewelers of Chicago; NVG Residential; Mac Marketing & Advertising Corp. and Chicago Indoor Racing sponsored Saville’s car.
Baker’s car had a consistent performance in the practice, but it did not handle the rough course well on Sunday. He said that he still have to make some more talks with his engineer, go over the results and analyze what really went wrong.
The race on Sunday, which marked the season’s midpoint, will be broadcasted on SPEED Monday, July 9 at 3 p. m. ET, with a re-broadcast on Thursday, July 12 at 4 a. m. ET.
Toronto will be the venue for the next Star Mazda event on July 6-7.
Andersen Racing is committed to offering a program that gives up-and-coming drivers the proper practice to reach open-wheel racing’s major leagues. It fields several cars in the F2000 Championship Series, the Star Mazda Championship that is being presented by Goodyear and the Indy Pro Series.
About Mazda and its Auto Racing
Mazda Motor Corporation is the sponsor of the Star Mazda event. Aside from manufacturing quality Mazda parts, the company is also known in the world of auto racing.
In the field of racing, Mazda is successful with two-rotor, three-rotor, and four-rotor cars. Private racers have also had considerable success with stock and modified Mazda cars with Wankel engines.
Mazda's competition in race started on October 20, 1968. This was when two Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S coupes entered the 84 hour ultra endurance race in Marathon de la Route at NГјrburgring. One car finished as the fourth placer and the other broke an axle after 81 hours.
Now, Mazda continues its legacy in the race world. And more recent is the fifth round of Star Mazda Championship at Portland International Raceway.

Luxury and Sports in one package R35
The radical R35 Nissan skyline is completely different to previous models you get the felling that it was Nissans intention to tackle the likes of BMW and Mercedes. Let start with the new shape a very modern design with smooth curves and lines which make it look very European /American.
The front of the car features a huge grill (which is a bit big for my liking) and sexy vertical style headlights. Moving to the side view the car looks very bulky with huge doors and smooth enlarged guards which look a lot less deliberate than that of a GTR. From the rear to the car looks great with twin exhaust tips and LED brake lights, but much to my disappointment the stove top tail-lights are gone.
The interior of the car looks great and again has a European feel about it. This Skyline has much more leg room than previous models but due to the sloping room there is little heat room in the back for tall passengers. Airbags are standard of course, along with a 6 stack cd player, and climate control. All controls are at arms reach and are very easy to use.
This Nissan skyline shares the same layout and engine as the 350Z but has a more luxurious style about it. The wheel base is slightly longer and the ride is more comfortable because of this the 350z is probably a slightly better performer. A 3.5L V6 replaces the aging RB engine and let me tell you it's a beauty, with 206kw @ 6000rpm and Nm at 4'800rpm. This engine performs and sounds fantastic the RB engine was good but you just can't beat the throttle response of an NA.
The new platform ignores the notion that 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution is the key to balanced handling. Nissan has employed a distribution of 53:47 this takes into account the pre-load which occurs when steering into a corner and counterbalances as weight shifts to the rear under acceleration, the result is a more stable feeling car. Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) replaces the old HICAS system, using a number of sensors it reduces both under and over-steer by applying brake pressure or cutting power from individual wheels. This technology makes the car very easy drive at the limit.
Over all the R35 Skyline is a fantastic much improved car it has lost some of its hardcore sport-ness but this has been replaced with a more luxurious livable car. I put this car in a different class to that of previous models and place it up their with more luxury sports cars like BMW and Audi. I believe the R35 Nissan Skyline appeals to a larger audience which is good news for Nissan. For pictures, videos and more information about this skyline and more I recommend you visit nissanskyline.6te.net.

Wet Air Scrubbers for Air Filtration
Oleg Systems Co. engineers industrial packed air scrubbers for air cleaning. Wet type dust collectors / packed air scrubbers are available in numerous designs utilizing a number of principles and featuring wide variation in effectiveness, initial cost, operating and maintenance expense, space, arrangements and material of construction. Wet type dust collectors are liquid (usually, but not necessarily, water) to capture and separate particulate matter (dust, mist, and fumes) from a gas stream. Some scrubbers operate by spraying the scrubbing liquid into the contaminated air. Others bubble air through the scrubbing liquid.
Wet Packed Scrubbers are used to remove gaseous and particulate contaminants from gas streams. Scrubbing is accomplished by impingement of particulates and/or by absorption of soluble gas or vapor molecules on the liquid-wetted surface of the packing. Gas or vapor removal is more complex than particulate capture. The contaminant becomes a solute and has a vapor pressure above that of scrubbing liquid. This vapor pressure typically increases with increasing concentration of the solute in the liquid and with increasing liquid temperature. Scrubbing of the contaminant continues as long as partial pressure of contaminant in the gas is above its vapor pressure with respect to the liquid. The rate of contaminant removal is a function of the difference between the partial pressure and vapor pressure, as well as the rate of diffusion of the contaminant.
Scrubber packings are designed to present a large surface area that will wet evenly with liquid. High efficiency packings promote turbulent mixing of the gas and liquid. Packings are available in ceramic, metal, and thermoplastic materials.
There are four different arrangements of Canadian Air Systems Wet-Packed Scrubbers:
HORIZONTAL COCURENT SCRUBBER.
This wet scrubber depends on the gas velocity to carry the liquid into the packed bed. It operates as a wetted entrainment separator with limited gas and liquid contact time. The gas velocity in the collector is limited by liquid retrainment to about 650 fpm.
VERTICAL COCURENT SCRUBBER.
Vertical cocurent scrubber can be operated at very high pressure drop - 1 to 3 in. of water per foot of packing depth) because there's no flooding limit for the superficial velocity.
CROSS-FLOW SCRUBBER.
This scrubber uses downward-flowing liquid and a horizontally moving air stream. The effectiveness of absorption processes in cross-flow scrubbers lies between those for cocurrent and countercourent flow scrubbers.
COUNTERCURRENT SCRUBBER.
Countercurrent scrubber uses a downward-flowing liquid and an upward-flowing gas. The gas-handling capacity of this wet scrubber is limited by pressure drop or by liquid entrainment. The contact time can be controlled by the depth of the packing used. This type of wet scrubber gives the best removal of gaseous contaminants while keeping liquid consumption to a minimum. The effectiveness of absorption processes is maximized because the exiting gas is in contact with fresh scrubbing liquid.

Some scrubbers operate by spraying the scrubbing liquid into the contaminated air. Others bubble air through the scrubbing liquid. In addition, many gybrid wet scrubbing designs exist.

How To Choose Web Site Hosting That
Web hosting companies offer a wide range of features and services. These can include things such as storage space, email addresses, autoresponder services, FTP access, bandwidth, website templates, site builders, blogging software and more.
The first requirement you should consider is storage space. The amount of storage you require will depend on how much content you'll be putting on your website, as well as the type of content. If you're planning to offer graphics, video and audio, you'll need a lot more storage space.
The second important requirement is bandwidth. You need to be sure your hosting plan has enough bandwidth to support the traffic you expect to get on your website.
When the internet first started, bandwidth was much more limited than it is today. Most web hosting services offer plenty of bandwidth for the average website.
Here again, if you're hosting graphics, video or audio content, your bandwidth needs will be higher.
Another feature offered by many web hosts is stats software. This will show you how your site is being used. You'll see where your visitors are coming from, the most popular pages on your website, how long your visitors stay on your site, which search engines are referring visitors and more.
The logs that track the stats for your website can take up space on your server. Some hosts let you download and delete your logs every day, others only monthly.
These log files can take up some of your storage space so this is something you might want to clarify with your host so you can manage them effectively.
What About Email?
Almost every web host includes at least one email address, many include a lot. In some cases you'll need to set limits on the size of each email account if you receive a lot of email on the website. The space used by email can use up some of your storage space.
If you're going to be running any kind of business on your website, you'll want to be sure to get an autoresponder service.
Autoresponders will automatically send out messages to your customers or anyone who wants to receive more information about your business or products.
Finally, be sure that your web hosting plan includes FTP access. This is almost universal, but it's worth checking because you'll need it to upload your website content properly. There shouldn't be any extra charge for FTP access.

How to Make Sense of Your Vehicle Identification Number
Each car that rolls of the assembly line has a unique identifier, like our social security number, that sets it appart from every other vehicle that is called a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). VIN's are used to track individual car's from factory to scrap yard. It can be used to track automobile recalls, registrations, warranty claims, thefts and insurance coverage for each vehicle. Each character or digit has a particular purpose in the identification of the vehicles make, model and features. In the mid 1950's American automobile manufacturers began stamping and casting identifying numbers on cars and their parts to give an accurate depiction of vehicles when mass production began in significant numbers.
Research shows that early VIN's came in variations which depended on the individual manufacturer at that time the car was produced. VIN number decoding has become an art and varies from manufacturer and model of vehicle over the years since cars started rolling off the assembly line in large numbers. Since the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration did not require vehicles to contain a 17 character Vehicle Identification Number in the early 1980's establishing the fixed VIN system for major vehicle manufacturers as it is known today, it appears that the hobbyist is left to search among their own particular brand and love of cars. Understanding the car's VIN has become very popular with car collectors for old vehicles since automobile collectors can confirm a vehicle's uniqueness, collectability and date of production.
Since car collecting has become a world wide phenomenon and knowing how to read and understand a VIN is a very important aspect we offer the following tips about Vehicle Identification Numbers.
To help understand some common VIN terms here are some definitions.
Body Type: The general configuration or shape of a vehicle like the number of doors and windows.
Line: A name applied to a family of vehicles within a make which have a degree of commonality in construction.
Model: Applies to a group of the same type, make, line, series and body type.
Make: The name applied to a group of vehicles or engines.
Model Year: The year used to designate a model, irrespective of the calendar year, as long as the period is less than two calendar years.
Plant: The plant where the Vehilcle Identification Number is attached.
Series: The name applied to a subdivision of a "line" denoting features that manufacturers use for marketing.

Los Angeles Driving School
Los Angeles driving school can be a punishment, if assigned to you by a judge, or it can be a way to make your situation better financially or safety-wise. It is possible, depending on many factors, to get a discount on your auto insurance premium if you take a course in defensive driving. It can also be helpful simply as you get out on the freeways and need to deal with the others on the road who seem to be unconcerned with laws or safety.
One of the great benefits of living in southern California is that you can take Los Angeles traffic school over the Internet and apply the credit toward a court-ordered traffic school program. This means that you can have a ticket dismissed or points removed from your license simply by logging on a web site and taking Los Angeles driving school through an authorized provider online.
The course structure of an online Los Angeles traffic school is self-paced, so you are able to come and go from the class as often and for as long as you’d like. This is especially handy because you can work on the course whenever you find the time, and don’t need to fight traffic to get to a particular location. In fact, many schools let you work right through a web-based program, so that you don’t even need to get to the same computer each time you log on. For people who are in front of the computer both at home and at the office, this is an added convenience for you.
In addition, you may work at your own pace, so whether you’re a quick learner or you prefer to take your time, you’ll be able to learn in the way that works best for you. Log in and out of the web site as often as you like, stopping when the phone rings or your mind begins to wander. Or power through and work from start to finish all at once, if you have the stamina. The courts recognize the certificate of completion as evidence that you have fully satisfied your legal obligations, and they do not care how many or how few class sessions it took for you to accomplish the task.
If you are trying to find a defensive driving program because your insurance company will allow you to get a safe-driver discount on your auto insurance premiums, many companies will permit you to use the online program for this purpose as well. This is especially true for drivers over the age of 55, although the rules vary from company to company. If you think you might be able to earn a discount, check with your insurer to find out which online providers you can use to get this credit.
Whatever your reason for taking a defensive driving class, it is in your best interest to look into those that are offered over the web. It’s a convenient way to manage your time and keeps you out of the L.A. traffic!

The Pot Of Gold Under The Rainbow: The 2007 Camry
You may not know it yet, but there's a hole in your heart the shape of the 2007 Toyota Camry. Chances are you could be living a happy and fulfilled life without ever sensing that it's there, unless of course you happen to take the new Camry for a test drive. Introduced at the 2006 Superbowl where the Pittsburg Steelers outdid the Seattle Seahawks 21-10, Toyota made an effort to reach Hispanic viewers with its 30-second Camry commercial. The spot featured a father and his 4 year old son driving in their new Camry Hybrid. As the two switch back and forth between Spanish and English, the father explains why he speaks two languages and why he bought a hybrid, which can switch between electric and gas power. The camera follows the conversation with revealing glimpses of the car in motion. Recent print ads highlight the Camry's ability to filter incoming air, its emotionally charged body, and the optional dual-electric performance Hybrid engine. The progress of the genre now gives 147 horsepower while averaging 40 mpg; the car is quick off the line as the pulse of your heartbeat. With a MSRP of $25,900 the 2007 Camry Hybrid is priced more than the Prius, but well within the range of the Honda Accord, or the 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid. Toyota's mid-size cars are the company's core breadwinners, and this the newest incarnation comes closest to perfection.
The strong and sensual external lines of the 2007 Camry articulate a reserved sensibility making the car seem more expensive than it really is. The larger than normal headlights, integrated bumpers and dual crease lines on the hood make the nose appear more bulbous, further enhance the car's gallant characteristics while boasting exceptional aerodynamics to 0.28 Cd. Even the sides of the car have a more sculpted appearance giving it a decidedly up-market European look and feel. The rear taillights are clean, placed higher up than on any previous model serving the need for practicality without compromising aesthetics. As a whole, the 2007 Camry looks like it's draped in fine Roman apparel.
If you step inside the well-engineered cabin of the 2007 Camry, you will find everything works with dogmatic precision. The power windows, door locks, and multi-adjustable comfortable seats are precise – all made from high-quality materials. The detailed instrument cluster for both climate controls and audio system are large, and tactile for easy reading and nice to touch. Previous generation of the Camry had a hard to read font on the half-moon tachometer and speedometer; this has been addressed in the latest model. The new font is larger and matches the sophisticated design of the interior cabin. In terms of space, the inside passenger room has been increased to 101.8 cubic feet with front leg-room at 41.6 inches and 38.3 inches in the rear. Regardless where you sit in the new Camry, both the front and rear seats have ample cushioning, and adequate room for taller adults. Additionally, the foldable rear seats give an additional 60:40 expansion room for extra storage. The completely redesigned inner cabin of the 2007 Toyota Camry succeeds at making driving the car a more relaxing experience.
Toyota's engineering is currently giving the European car manufacturers a good run for the money. For the 2007 Camry, there are three engines to choose from including: the 2.4-liter with 158 horsepower, the 3.5-liter V6 with 268 horsepower, and the 2.4-liter Hybrid. The latter has two-motors for the Hybrid, one to provide energy for the cabin, and the other to turn the wheels. The naturally aspirated engines gives 24 mpg city; 33 mpg highway, while the Hybrid averages 40 mpg. The Hybrid is most surprising because it gives sporty performance for overtaking, and merging in traffic.
Falling in love is rewarding experience, especially when you are behind the wheel of the 2007 Camry. This year marks Toyota Motor Company's 70th anniversary of making motor cars. The company acknowledges its secret to success in the USA is attributed to building safe, mid-sized sedans. As such, the 2007 Camry lists many safety features as standard items including: rear seat child restraint system; anti-lock ABS system to maintain vehicle control; and advanced airbags to appropriately inflate the bags depending on conditions. The new Camry offer style and a well crafted interior at an affordable price. With MSRP ranging from $19,320 for the base model to $25,900 for the 2007 Camry Hybrid, it's easy to see why everyone is thinking green, while looking better than ever. It's the perfect getaway companion for taking your beloved to a cozy restaurant, to a seaside resort, and returning home again.

Potholes a holey unresolved issue
Potholes are the bane of every road user. Cars are seriously damaged by them, motorcyclists and cyclists swerve desperately to avoid them, and pedestrians trip over them. The injuries and damage they cause each year costs councils more than пїЅ45m to correct, but this is only the tip of the iceberg.
According to recent statistics, private road users in the UK pay out more than пїЅ320m for car repairs after hitting potholes. In Scotland, where the condition of the roads is apparently the worst, the average motorist will shell out пїЅ276 each year to fix pothole damage to their car.
Potholes are usually caused by the freezing and thawing of water on the road, which loosens road material. When cars drive over this weakened road surface, parts of it break away and a hollow begins to form. This hole will get deeper and deeper as subsequent cars pass over it, progressively causing more and more damage to these vehicles.
They are most likely to start appearing in spring for two reasons. Firstly, the wet weather and freezes of the winter will have started the process of road surface erosion, and secondly, it is more difficult to repair them through the winter months so there will be a large number of untreated holes. These two issues compound to make spring driving in the UK both costly and dangerous.
Research has shown that around 1 in 5 mechanical faults are caused by driving over a poor road surface. The most common issue with potholes is wheel misalignment, which can cost up to пїЅ90 to correct. Other issues, which are often more expensive to fix, include damage to tyres, wheels, shock absorbers, springs, stabiliser bars, and upper and lower suspension arms. However, as car design advances so does the complexity of the problems and consequently the cost of repairs.
Garages that are located close to a particularly bad pothole regularly see motorist after motorist coming through their doors with wheel and suspension damage. The problem is so widespread that many mechanics advise out of pocket customers to make a claim for compensation to the local council rather than turning to their car insurance company. It is estimated that around 20% of claims that councils receive are related to pothole damage.
Whilst it should seem fairly straightforward to make a claim for damage that has been directly caused by roads in a poor state of repair, this is not always the case. Firstly, it may not be clear whose responsibility a stretch of road is. Roads on housing estates may be owned by the developer, private roads are likely to be owned by the local residents, whilst Transport for London is the responsible party for some lanes in London.
Even if there is no question that a road is owned by the council, it can still be very difficult to get compensation for pothole damage so it is best to make your application armed with as much information as possible.
It is advisable to measure and take pictures of the pothole which caused the damage, get a report from the garage who repaired the car, and talk to local residents and garages about other drivers who have had similar experiences with that pothole. It is also very useful to find out the approximate date when the pothole appeared, which local people can often help with.
However, even the most prepared of motorists may get their initial application turned down by their council. One lady claims that her request for compensation has been turned down despite the fact she had reported a series of potholes the day before they caused her car to skid across a road, resulting in пїЅ2,500 worth of damage. She has had to turn to her car insurance company to pay for the damage, losing her no claims bonus in the process.
The reason that there are so many potholes on the UK's roads is that of a пїЅ1bn shortfall in road budget. Many councils are unable to afford to mend all the holes on their roads and are even less able to afford the resulting claims for compensation. It seems the situation is deteriorating further, with 2005 seeing a 42% rise in the number of pothole-related claims made to councils.
It seems that, unless there are some changes implemented soon, there will continue to be thousands of people losing cheap motor insurance rates as they claim on their policies in order to afford repairs. It is not known how many accidents are caused by road users hitting a pothole or swerving to avoid a pothole but it is likely that there will be injuries and possibly even deaths as long as the situation goes unresolved.
In the meantime, motorists should report dangerous potholes to their local council so that they can at least be scheduled in for repairs. Most councils offer an online pothole reporting service which can be found on their website, although some will require you to telephone, email or write to them.

Ways to cut down on your car insurance
Not many drivers know this, but there are many ways to shave pounds off your car insurance premium. It's all a matter of knowing what the insurers look for.
Insurers take into account various individual characteristics when calculating your premium. The most common of these are your age, gender and how long you've been driving, but they are by no means the only things they will look at.
Many insurers will quote your premium based on the size of your engine, and the type of car you drive. They reason that faster, more powerful cars are more likely to be in accidents, and a larger car more typically has this type of engine.
Certain cars are commonly bought by young drivers, and 'boy racers', because of the cheapness of parts and bodykits, and the lightweight chassis. These cars will usually cost more to insure as the company will assume the car will be driven unsafely by a young driver.
It may be worth down-grading to a smaller car to save on not only your car insurance, but also your fuel costs and road tax.
Where your car will be parked can also have an influence on your premium. It goes without saying that the area in which you live in is taken into account, but also whether your car is kept on a public road, a driveway, car port or garage. A garage is by far the safest option from an insurance point of view. Remember, if your car will be offroad for an extended period, declare it SORN and you won't need insurance for it at all.
Keeping your mileage low will help keep your premiums low too. The logic behind this is, the less you're on the road, the less chance you have to be in an accident. If your mileage is extremely low you may want to consider pay-as-you-drive, which can lead to a substantial saving.
Even your job has an effect on your motor insurance. Those who work in high-profile, high-paid jobs usually have higher premiums to reflect this. Additionally, if your job involves a lot of driving, this can reflect in a higher premium.
Finally, your past driving history can mean a much cheaper car insurance quote. If you go for a year or more without making a claim, you could be entitled to a no-claims bonus, and if this accrues it can save you up to 75% off your premium.

One of the major changes online would be the popularity of online videos. A couple of years ago, the concept of video streaming was nothing but just a distant reality. However, in December 2006, online video achieved dominance.

The number of television content has also increased. You could easily download videos of the trailers of the latest movies, along with entertaining video streams and electronic seminars.
Though the clarity of videos that are streamed online may be less compared to a television set, but this lack in clarity is compensated with great availability. Video streams are usually sent through email, are included in blog websites and are also key parts of a lot of social network websites.
Video streaming and its usage is a growing phenomenon that has a lot of various positive and useful applications. It is able to provide many opportunities for individuals to have the ability of sharing footage of family events with their other family members. Entertainment and music videos could also be shared. You could easily download television shows. And on a more functional and practical note, business could be done more effectively with the technology of video streaming.
One more benefit of this would be its strong potential to have more backlinks that would be able to increase visitors to your video stream. These visitors could stick around and check what you are offering on your online business.

Internet the World
The next time you need to sell or buy a used car you don't need to rush to dealers and spend precious time negotiating the best deal. The internet has come to the rescue once again. Following the success of various classifieds sites including job sites, dating sites, real estate site etc auto classifieds sites are the next big thing. Online used cars & bike classifieds are a big draw for buyers and sellers because of the many features they offer which conventional newspaper classifieds lack.
Features of Online Auto Classifieds:
1. Full page color ads
2. Multiple photos of your vehicle
3. Country wide ad listing for long periods up to three months
4. Personal account & response management system
5. Privacy options (manage responses via online mailbox only)
These features are available to users of most auto classifieds websites such as Indimoto.com. Users can search according to various parameters such as city, make, model, year etc and get the exact match they are looking for much easier than browsing through pages and pages of newspaper classifieds. US based sites such as Edmunds.com have gone a step further and conduct their own research on used cars to ascertain the desirability and pricing of various models in the used car market. An Indian auto classifieds site Indimoto.com has gone a step further and introduced separate sections for cars, bikes and commercial vehicles.
Indimoto.com is also India's first carpool site where users can search and post carpool ads. Its not just individual users who are using these sites, car dealers are finding it very beneficial to sell their vehicle inventory online considering the many features on offer. For people who do not know or use the internet dealers can help in selling their vehicle via these auto classifieds sites. You must be wondering about how much it costs to post an ad on such sites. Certain sites are paid sites while sites such as Indimoto.com are completely free to use. Financially it makes a lot of sense to use auto portals since buyers and sellers never need to pay any commission or brokerage for deals done via the site. The site gets buyers in touch with the sellers directly.
So the next time you need to buy or sell a used car or bike look no further that the internet.

Never get tricked by used car dealers again -
Another trick employed by used car dealers is appraising your trade-in car at a far lesser price than what you initially offer.
Car Dealer Tactic #5
Some car salespersons connive with mechanics just to undervalue your trade in car. If you think your car is worth more than it really is, then you hope that you just might get a clever salesperson who will give in and agree to an excessive price for your trade in. Now you might be pleased by this, because you may be thinking that you are вЂputting one over’ the dealer. Not so. Generally, the sales person will look up on the computer or in the Car Dealers Price Guide to find out the going price for your trade in and will start from there. And if you don't watch out, you might end up shouldering all the car costs in the end. How, you ask? Well, when the dealer charges TOO much for your new car.
Let's say the car dealer contacts you before your new car is delivered. When the niceties are over, you will be told that there is an issue with the trade in. You will be asked to bring the car into the workshop for further inspection. When your vehicle has been in the garage for 60 minutes, (having nothing done to it), the salesperson will tell you that the mechanic claims to have found it is really only worth $500 less than what they have offered for it. Thus, the salesperson gets to pocket an extra $500 if you give in and agree your used car is really worth far lesser.
Car Dealer Tactic #6
Salespeople sometimes quote prices of a car excluding the on-road costs. If you don’t specifically ask for on-road costs to be included, the salesperson will most likely give you the excluding on-road costs price. Of course, you have to be guarded because your contract may be drawn up on this proviso. Trouble is that when you are ready to sign, the вЂquoted’ price of the car, will then be understated by many thousands of dollars.
To make sure this does not happen to you, shop around for car prices online. There, you'll get a wide array of information on car trends, models, and car price range. Armed with such knowledge, you are at a much better bargaining position with the car dealer. You know what your used car is worth in the market, and you know how far a leeway you can go without losing too much at the bargaining table.

How to make better friendships for a successful life?
Success in life depends on many factors. Relationship is one of them. Do successful people have better friendships? Is their any relation between art of making friends and success? How to make friends who remain for a lifetime?
What is success?
Everyone of us has his/her own definition of success. An artist feels successful after creating a beautiful painting and a business person feels successful if the business makes profits. Each of us has his/her own parameters that decide success in our life. How do our friendships affect our success?
Happiness and success?
A successful person is essentially a happy person. Happiness means - to feel satisfied with life in most of the ways and to maintain a state of mind that is contented. Our friendships are part of our life. If we want to succeed, we will also have an art of making good friends and keep friendships strong through-out our life.
Maintaining friendships. How?
How to maintain friendships that last? The art is in giving rather than expecting. Share your friends' worries, concerns and happiness. Join them on all occasions that are important to them. Congratulate them at every success, express empathy at every loss and share joy at every success or any enjoyable occasion.
The role of Internet in keeping contacts:
In the earlier times, when the internet was not there, talking on telephones, sending letters and meeting personally were the preferred methods of keeping in touch. After the advent of Internet, emailing and chat are slowly replacing these earlier ways.
How to make more impact?
Would you prefer to send a one line congratulations mail to your friends on their birthdays, their anniversary, their promotion and all such other occasion when they are feeling special? What if you search the net and select an ecard or greeting card and send it? Does it make a difference? It surely does. It tells your friend that you took some effort in sending a message. Stop sending plain emails and start sending ecards to connect with your friends on days and occassion that are special. You will find the differenece in quality of relationship very soon.

World Leaders Bring Back Electric Cars
The fate of electric cars seems to be sparking still and not completely gone. This is primarily because soon enough, electric cars would again be on the streets and roads. Well, not exactly for every day use and for ownership, but at least, they would be used by world leaders of leading industrialized countries and democracies. Maybe there is hope, after all.
These leaders would include those who lead countries like the United States, Russia, Britain, France, Japan, Germany, Canada, as well as Italy. They would be using the electric cars during the G8 Summit. This summit would be held this summer, July 15th to the 17th in St. Petersburg, Russia. GEM electric vehicles would be the ones to be used by these country leaders. And in part of such a big event, the government of Russia under the supervision of their president, Vladimir Putin, took part of the budget to purchase thirty GEM electric vehicles which could take in four passengers inside its cabin – these vehicles are also called as e4. They also made sure that each of the vehicles is personalized. They would be putting the participating country's official logo as well as flag on the GEM electric vehicle.
GEM and e4 vehicles are created Global Electric Motors, LLC. Rick Kasper is its president and chief operating officer. He states, "GEM electric vehicles will offer the participating leaders with an environmentally-friendly transportation option while attending the G8 summit. It is an honor for GEM to be participating in this important international event for the second time." Indeed, the first time GEM took part in such a grand event was back in 2004 during that year's G8 Summit which was held in Sea Island, Georgia.
What is good about GEM electric vehicles is that it has zero emissions. It also is clean and provides a ride that is quiet and very efficient. It also is affordable compared to using the usual kinds of vehicles.
These vehicles could certainly preserve the environment. On the other hand, regular vehicles could also help clean up the air as long as all the parts are in good condition. Auto Parts Discount offers quality and affordable Mercedes Benz parts such as Mercedes Benz wheels and lights for all owners.

Reasons Behind Brake Squealing
When buying a car, a customer chooses that which is physically good, mechanically fine, and smooth to drive. The third criterion means the engine must yield smooth transition and when braking, everything goes smoothly and quietly. One problem that goes along with the brake system, if not properly maintained, is brake squealing.
It is a very common problem which might not only affect your car but it might also end up giving you headaches each time you drive due to the noise it gives. Although most of the times brake squealing is due to the brake pad, there are several other reasons which might cause the problem and you should start by finding out what it is in order to be able to fix it.
One of the problems that might cause brakes to squeal is an excessive break pad wear. Also some pad materials can cause the brake to squeal more, such as carbon metallic, for example. And in this case, if you want to put an end to the squealing of your brake, you should change the pad for another one.
But, there are some other problems that can cause brakes to squeal that might be more complex and not so easy o fix. Among these problems are misaligned calipers, loose calipers, pads incorrectly sized, glazed rotors, glazed pads and warped rotors. If you find out that your brake pads are correctly in position and are doing just fine and the brakes squealing is not caused by those pads, you should consult a mechanic unless you are able to find which other problem could be the cause.
Among the other several reasons could be, in the case of your Volkswagen car, the VW brake hoses. Your car's hoses see to it that vital fluids keep circulating in the engine parts for optimum performance. And these fluids must be kept flowing.
As a special type of flexible tube, VW brake hose transcends precise flow of brake fluid. It features high grade and is made under durable construction to address extreme heat and pressure understanding the necessity for its efficient service. While the brake booster amplifies the amount of force you applied on the brakes to compress pressure, a vacuum is created through the VW brake hose. It facilitates pressure buildup which is eventually used to deliver other components to grip onto the rotating disc brakes and overcome the force with huge amount of compression and friction.
If you want to check your brake pads in order to find out if they are where brake squealing comes from, you should start by visually checking them by yourself in order to notice if they show equal wear and do not look broken in any way. This is one way of cost cutting. Then, if the pads show an unequal wear or show excessive wear, it means it is time to change them.
If your car brakes are squealing and you also hear other noises such as clunky noises along with the squealing, you should consult a mechanic as soon as possible since it could mean that there is a generalized problem in the braking system. You and your passengers’ lives may also be at risk.
Aside from this, you should also have to take into account that there are some other ways in which to reduce the brakes squealing. One way is by installing brake pad vibration damper pads, which are meant for this problem and would be very helpful against reducing the noise.

BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon Debuts
To be introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2005, the all-new BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon will be available in the US beginning in October 2005. The BMW Sports Wagon will continue the highly successful tradition of combining more versatile cargo space with the performance and handling of a sports sedan.
The Sports Wagon will be powered by BMW's new, advanced N52 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine. This includes magnesium/aluminum composite engine construction, and BMW's patented Valvetronic variable valve lift system, which replaces the conventional throttle for more efficient engine breathing and improved responsiveness. The 325i Sports Wagon is equipped with a new, standard six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission is optional.
It is equally impressive in its space and roominess. Length (+1.65"), width (+3.07"), height (+0.35"), and wheelbase (+1.38") are all increased compared to the previous generation Sports Wagon, providing front and rear occupants with additional space and comfort on the road.
Near 50-50 weight distribution, all-wheel drive, a long wheelbase, and short body overhangs front and rear are simply ideal for outstanding agility and driving safety under any circumstances.
The double-pivot front suspension, newly developed for the 3 Series Sedan, offers an optimum balance of driving dynamics and ride comfort in the Sports Wagon as well. Utilizing extensive aluminum component, this innovative suspension design offers superior tracking stability and low unsprung weight. The five-link rear axle in lightweight steel, ensures precise wheel guidance as well as excellent roll comfort, ensures class-leading agility and dynamic handling.
Safety features include the first front-to-rear Head Protection System to be offered in the 3 Series employs a curtain-type system, which takes up less space in the headliner and can remain inflated for several seconds after deployment, especially important in case of rollover. The 3 Series is BMW's first to employ seat-mounted side-impact airbags, as opposed to the door-mounted type of the predecessor and other current Series. In their function of protecting occupants' pelvis and thorax regions in side impacts, the seat-mounted airbags are equal to the door-mounted type, but offer greater freedom for the interior designers to achieve their functional and esthetic goals. It has a sophisticated electronic control strategy for managing the deployment of airbags and safety belt tensioners.
This approach to optimal effectiveness of safety systems now becomes more precise, thanks to a new sensing mat in the front passenger seat. Called OC3, the mat is more highly sophisticated than its predecessor; it measures the weight and analyzes the pressure distribution of the occupant in order to distinguish between an adult and an infant in a child safety seat. The front passenger's airbags will be deactivated, should the driver install a forward-facing infant safety seat. The footrest is designed to crush under the force of the driver's left foot in certain frontal impacts, so that the full impact force is not transmitted to his or her foot and leg. The Mastervac (brake master cylinder) is mounted so that as the front end deforms, it rotates, and with it the brake and clutch pedals. The pedals move forward, canceling much of the force transfer to the driver's feet and legs if they are on the pedals
